Plain Spoken Health brings a cardiology perspective to the questions patients and families carry home. The goal is simple: help you understand the information in front of you and prepare for your next conversation with your care team.

Is this a second medical opinion?

No. The service focuses on education and visit preparation based on existing medical records and documented recommendations. Your treating team remains responsible for diagnosis and treatment decisions.

Can a family member join?

Yes. A family member or support person can join the conversation with the patient’s permission.

When do I pay?

There is no charge to submit a request. Payment is requested only after the case is reviewed and accepted.

What if my question is urgent?

This service is not for urgent or emergency concerns. For a medical emergency, call 911.
